Project Description:

IDP are delighted to have received planning approval for Farringdon Row, Sunderland for build-to-rent developer Placefirst. This development will form the second phase of the award winning Riverside Sunderland Masterplan and will include a total of 165 homes ranging from 1-bedroom apartments to 3-bedroom family homes. All houses will be built to Future Homes Standard and will have an EPC A energy efficiency rating showcasing MVHR systems and integrated air source heat pumps.

This complex site sits along the top of limestone cliffs with historic train tunnels running directly through the middle of the site. The proposal has been commended for maintaining an excellent level of design alongside these difficult constraints.
